Are these makes reliable?
(I had this question up earlier but I remembered more car makes lol so I thought I'd repost the question)
I'm just curious as to how good these makes really are as they are almost non-exsistant in New Zealand:
-Tata (India)
-Great Wall (China)
-Proton (Malaysia)
-Ssangyong (...where are they made?)
-Lada (Russia...are they still being made?)
-Lancia (...where are they made?)
-Fiat (Italy)
-Seat (Spain)
-Skoda (Czech)
These makes are common here but I'd still like to know if they good cars:
-Saab (Sweden)
-Peugeot (France)
-Citreon (France)
-Volvo (Sweden)
-VW (Germany)
-Renault (France)
-Hyundai (Korea)
ok, the first list of cars, (ones that arent available where you live), those cars are all very unreliable and cheaply built. except for fiat and seat, those are actually really good cars.
for the second list (the ones that are available where you live), those are all extremely reliable manufacturers. very well built.
i live in the usa, ive done my research on manufacturers from all countries and emissions. the reason you probably dont get the first list of cars is because they cant pass your countries emissions for safety.
lancia on another note, is currently not in production.
saab is owned by GM, or was owned by GM until they canceled the product. spyker now has full control and will be rolling new saabs off the line within the next few years.
Ssangyong is a chinese manufacturer and they cannot pass your countries emissions. unsafe vehicles
Lada is currently out of production as well.
your country probably wont get these vehicles any time in the near future. due to the massive oil spill, the automotive industry is at a standstill. so, unfortunately, my country (the USA) is suffering the biggest blow. we were supposed to get Alfa Romeo and Fiat. but as far as we know, Alfa Romeo was underperforming in sales in Europe, so they canceled the return to the USA. Fiat has a good chance of being here by 2012.
