How come when girls are into "guy" things they always pick the worst aspect of that field or hobby?
I've noticed that when girls are into guy things they seem to not fully understand what they "like." For instance when a girl likes football they will pick a horrible team to pull for. Like the Raiders. I would understand if it's a local team but I live 3000 miles away from the Raiders. That or when a girl is into cars they love something like a Honda. It's a good reliable car but I've never seen a Honda turn heads like a Bel Air or a chopped 41 mercury. The list of examples could go on. I'm sure there are girls out there that generally like these things, but when you've been doing something for years end on end. You can tell what someone does and doesn't know about that thing. Why fake liking something to try to meet guys? If I acted like I was into Arts and crafts or some other typical girl thing to do they would call BS and tell me they didn't like a liar.
Hey dude, some girls are genuinely in to those hobbies, and a Honda would definitely not be the car I drool after.
However, she could be in to the Honda for other reasons, like its ability to conserve gas etc. Plus, with the Raiders thing, don't blame it on girls. Guys pick some pretty far away loser teams themselves.
However, if you do feel that this particular girl is trying to impress guys with her "guy interests" then she is probably reading too many teen mags that tell her that guys are in to that in the first place. She's probably just trying to connect with you in some way, and she doesn't know how. Throw her a bone! Help the girl out! Meet her half way! If she's searching for common ground, try to help her find it. Or better yet, educate her on what a real car looks like.
