What are some of your reasons for liking or disliking a particular nascar driver?
What are some of the most important things? Like: Driver's origin, lineage, number races won, number of races lost, car number, car color, sponsors, cool car design, Ford/chevy/dodge etc., personality, allies. Any others? If I said I liked Dale Jr., there would probably be some people who bashed me - what might the reasons be. If I said I liked J Gordon, people might bash me for liking a pretty boy yankee, for example.
No, people dislike drivers who have attitude issues, are dishonest, cheat to win, race dirty by wrecking other drivers to get to the front, seems to be favored by nascar. Stuff like that.
Then you got people who think these dirty drivers are like the best drivers in the world, and can do no wrong. But in reality, these fans fail to see the truth about these drivers.
I don't pick favorite drivers by sponsors, car designs, winning many races, or anything like that. I like Tony Stewart and I know he's showed his butt one too many times, but he's a true and great racer and can handle just about any type racing car on any type track and any time.
