Nfs Prostreet FPS issue?
I recently made a new rig with the following specs
2.4 ghz quad-core 8 MB l2 cache
Intel g35ec motherboard on board HD sound
Nvidia 8400 se (special Edition) 512 ddr2
(core clock is 580 mhz and memory bus is 326 mhz)
Ive got 2gb ram @ 667 mhz
500 gb sata western digital hardrive
Now my problem is that with highest quality options, i get an fps of about 13-20 thats the average .
What in your opinion is the problem and how do i solve it ?
Also the card runs at 76-78 degrees when playing games at max quality . is that normal ?
Could it be a power supply problem ? I have a 400 watts power supply ... The minimum for the card is 350 .
abdul, the problem is not your PSU. it is the graphic card. since you are trying to play the game in the highest settings (i am assuming that you have anti aliasing enabled as well), the frame rates are bound to drop. get an inexpensive nvidia geforce 9800gt for far better performance. if you are looking for the best below $150 card, its ATI Radeon 4850.
