Redline Romp Rear Wheel Hub problems?
Ok i have a Redline Romp..its orange with flames...
The Rear wheel was locking up and making grinding noise..so it ook off the back wheel and took of the axle and opened the hub...the whole inside was all grinded out an the bearings were like sand chunks...
How much will it cost 2 fix it..do i have to by a whole new hub/..or can they just like file it and make it smooth and add new bearings..
SO wat would the Cost be..or wat should i do about it..

Hmm, well I'm guessing if your bb's were busted it's an unsealed hub. If so, take your rear wheel, (axle, hub, and everything) to the closest bike shop. Call ahead and tell them you need new bearings in your rear hub. Once upon a time i shot some bearings in my old bike, and I got 5 new bearings and a hub tune for like $10 bucks. For all new bb's you might pay $20-$30
If the inside of the hub is grinded out, your shop will tell you there's no point putting in new bearings. If so you'll need a new hub.
From now on, take a day every week or every other week to maintain your bike, check everything's greased and tightened and it'll save you time and trouble.
