How to find an affordable torque sensor?
I am looking for a torque sensor to measure the torque required to start the rotation of a super-light rotor setup. I need a torque sensor that costs under $100.
I need to know what type of torque sensor would be cheapest, and how to set it up if it isn't in-line with the shaft. I would prefer if it had digital outputs for the collection of data.
Where would you recommend I buy these?
If you really have a tight budget for your torque sensor then why not consider renting it instead. That way you can save a lot and try first the capability of a particular sensor before deciding buying it if you need to.
